Newegg Price mistake?

I've been looking for a fan controller and I would like to go with the Aerogate 3. This will be going in a Cooler Master Wavemaster

Now it may just be me, but it looks like newegg has the black one for only 19.99 and the silver one for 39.99. Is the only difference between the two just the color? Surely there must be something else.

Are there any other fan controllers I should take a look at before purchasing the black Aerogate 3?

But do you see any difference between the 39..99 and 19.99 one besides color?

They are both the aerogate 2...

I have looked at the silver one before, and I do not see any difference, except maybe that the silver one has a blue backlite LCD...but that does not seem right, becuase they are the same model number and everything except for the color code. Which are you planning to buy? If its the black one buy it now, becuase i have looked elsewhere and they aerogate it much more expensive then 20$, newegg will give you the price of their mistake if you buy it before they fix it....

You can get the Aerogate 1 from svc.com for $5. in the clearance section - can't beat it for cheap fan controlling. Those are the same. A lot of CA companies are trying to reduce inventory right now for tax purposes. And/or a lot of folks use silver accys in black cases so the egg may have gotten into an overstock position on black ones. Happens all the time that newegg blows out one color and not another.
. Look at the Athenatech gamer case - some colors have rebate, some don't. etc. etc.

newegg often has different prices for different colors of products. probably has to do with their current stock and which they want to sell...or not

There is a slight difference in model number - US vs UK version? If there is a difference it is not apparent to me from the descriptions given on this site. I would check at other sites before buying.

US = Silver UK=BlacK. K is often used for Black because K is the only letter in it that doesn't appear in many other colors. Also K is black in CMYK...
