I wonder why newegg are always selling the polk stuff for so cheap? Great buys if they hold up.

The Polk speakers are great buys at the sale price, but not so much at the normal price. They've been doing this for years, and I don't expect them to stop any time soon.

I have a 3yo 5.1 Polk setup that I bought from Fry's when they used to run great deals on them. Speakers typically don't go bad (unless they're damaged by something), so I expect to be using them years from now. Whenever I do upgrade to better speakers, they'll become my computer speakers

they will have the black ones at this price eventually, they always do, they rotate these polk prices around a lot, but put them on special quite a bit, it is worth waiting for these sale prices to build a surround system though, it seems like they never have all the speakers on sale at the same time. This is their better price for the 60's though.

Not a bad deal looks like they are also including free speaker wire with each speaker. Makes it even better. As for Polk Vs. Jamo. I've heard polk and it's a decent speaker. Never heard of Jamo, so I can't really compare the two but the specs for the Jamo look great for money! But it all boils down to the SOUND.
