Newegg + Paypal

So apparently the egg started accepting paypal. Since I don't have a credit card, I danced in joy thinking I can now pay for stuff directly using my bank account. Can I? NO.

You must add a credit card to complete this purchase because either the seller does not accept eChecks, or there is a problem with the bank account on file. Some payments, like instant and immediate payments, require a credit card.

Woot le fuque? If I had and wanted to use a credit card, I would use the system at Newegg. I don't see how there could be a problem with my bank account, being that I am a VERIFIED member and Paypal doesn't say anything is wrong with my account.

So that's cool. Anyone else run into this problem? Comments on newegg + paypal?

I use that combo all the time... No probs here..

You may just have to have the funds into the paypal account...do a transfer from the bank first and then buy it in 3-4 business days when it clears...

I ordered some things from Newegg and used Paypal and they never sent me any e-mail telling me the orders shipped or tracking info or anything. I had to go login to find out. They always used to send e-mails telling you it shipped with the tracking number.

yea same here. I bought some memory about a week ago and i never got any emails 🙁

The funny thing is I got the order confirmation before I even actually paid them through paypal.

Got an e-mail with shipping info on it a few hours ago. I had already recieved all of the packages though, so it wasn't really helpful.
