Newegg offering Cingular now!

I was browsing the site and it looks like Newegg now has Cingular phones and offers the activation too. They have some pretty cool deals, maybe it's time I switched...

Great prices on the phones but the plans prices are not...$60 per month and minimum of 2 years.

Too bad they don't have cheaper plans.

Sprint does have coverage maps.
I just changed from cingular to sprint due to the spotty coverage and am quite satisfied. Bay area cali.
$30 a month

If you don't mind me asking, what phone did you go with. I'm currently a Sprint User and need a new phone; but am not thrilled with the available options.

Great deal - too bad their data plan is too expensive. Sprint is $15 per month for unlimited data.

I almost switched to Sprint the other day due to their data pricing, but then remembered my college experience with them. Basically they suck. Not as bad as say Qwest, but they are definitely one of my least favorite companies.

TERRIBLE customer service
Put the screws to me when they were the largest
NEVER bent the rules to keep a customer

I still remember the day I told them to F-off.

Though Verizon is relatively expensive right now. Their customer service is GREAT and they give their CSRs a lot of room to bend the rules to make the customer happy. Just signed another 2 year contract with them.

And the vx-8700 is sexy 😉

Is today opposite day?

Cellphone service can vary greatly from one area to another. It is always best to find someone from your exact area and go from there.
