Newegg, Nutrend, and Mwave?

Are all 3 of these places the same store? the menus, layout, and prices seem so similar. And I think Nutrend is using the same pics that newegg uses.

I really can't answer your question but I know that the service from MWAVE and Newegg are both top notch, not sure about newtrend. I think they may just use the same site software.

I'm just about 100% positive that they aren't the same store. They just use the same e-store software.

There are a few stores that use the same software as Directron, too.

Several months back, the same question about Newegg/Mwave came up. Mwave actually had a web page up for a while that stated that although there were other websites out there with similar layouts, they were not affiliated with any other online stores. They also said that they were "flattered" that someone else thought that their layout was good enough to be copy-worthy!

That being said...The Nutrend website is straight jackage of Newegg. Their parts section has the same quirks Newegg's does. i.e. I click on "Processors - AMD Duron" and then I have to click on the "AMD" link before I see the processors? WTF?!? AMD was already specified in the previous link!!!
I wonder how long Nutrend been around? Come on...Newegg...Nutrend? And Nutrend's department #'s and product #'s even match Neweggs!

I'd check resellerratings and Whois but I've gotta get to the store to buy my beer before they stop selling

NuTrend has been around forever...much longer than Newegg I think (think NT has been around like 10 years).

Like Wingnut said, just the same software. Mwave did in fact have a thing saying that they weren't affiliated with companies with the same layout

What I got from an earlier thread, Newegg and Nutrend are the same stores, Nutrend offers systems, Newegg doesn't. I could be wrong but that's what I gathered.

Mwave is not affiliated with either.

You guys talking about this Nutrend?. If so, it's the one I asked about in a thread a few months ago and was told that it does have something to do with Newegg. I don't remember the exact relationship though.

EDIT: Hey, cool. I found this neat tool in the upper right corner of this page. It's called "search" I used it and came up with this result.

I've been to mwave (I don't live too far from the place), and I don't recall ever seeing anything affiliated with newegg.

(Pretty neat, I request that I will pick it up, drive there an hour later, and go back home )

Yeah, sadly you have to pay tax.

And pick up fee is $5 i believe. Grrr...

...oh well, better than waiting a few days and paying even more than that

Darien yeah i hate waiting. But i guess if i want good deals rather than going to compusa ,bestbuy , etc locally and paying $100 + more just to get what i want its worth it.
