Newegg - most (every?) product showing as sold out?!

Not sure what's going on, but 7 different products that showed previously as in stock are out of stock now, other's changing too

Um, we'd end up buying hardware from one of the other half dozen places that have usually better prices and don't rape you on shipping... 😕 Don't fool yourself, newegg isn't what it used to be.

This is true, but without newegg then other would probably raise their prices.

I have been using Directron more myself, as the ground shipping only takes a couple of days to arrive. Newegg has gotten really bad on the warranty service they provide on a wide range of their products. One of Newegg's most enticing reasons for shopping there is their easy RMA procedure, but it does no good if a product fails after the 30 days are up and you have to deal with the manufacturer instead, which can be a very aggravating experience. IOW, it is just like shopping somewhere else where the prices are a little better.
