A-DATA 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory - Retail

says $114.99 but there is a $10 off code that they e-mailed you this morning! you can probably find it on the other sites too.

Are you joking newegg has the absolute worse service then any other store i have shopped at. People get all excited because they ship your stuff out next day but so does everyone else. I personally hate newegg i have had to much trouble with their products and had to pay to many restocking fees. Outpost for example has NO restocking fee.

1. They have a restocking fee
2. You cannot get anyone on the phone
3. Alot of their products they will not return

1) Their restocking fee is clearly stated, why should Newegg incur the cost if you ordered the wrong part(s) for your system? They do NOT charge a restocking fee for the return of defective items unlike some online e-tailers. Most brick and mortar retailers also charge restocking fees on electronics and their base prices are much higher than Newegg...

2) I've called Newegg's customer service at various times of day at least 10 times since 2002 and have NEVER waited on hold for more than 2 minutes and have always had my question answered when I do get a rep.

3) I'd like to see an example of a product that won't return that is different from any other retailer (again, software, OEM CPU's, etc.. being the usual exceptions). They clearly state their general return/RMA policies on their site and on the order page for items with specific exceptions to it so you know before you order what the options are.

Nice price on the RAM OP - I was going to point out the D9 based G.Skill kit for $109 as an alternative but it looks like the price is up to $129 since yesterday so this is the best deal going for PC 6400.

Thanks OP. In for a pair. And I will have to agree with yuppiejr. I've ordered from newegg for years and had nothing but good service. I ordered a case one time and when it arrived the window was broken. I called them and they sent me out a whole other side of a case for free.

Your nuts...I had to RMA 2 mobos recently..RD600
Newegg was awesome..they crosshipped a new board the first time, second time they let RMA for a refund and they provided a shipping label

ZZF..I bought eSATA (vantec) enclosure...it shipped with the wrong adapter from Vantec and it was defective..you could not use it all ..it rebooted or crashed all 3 computers I own...
ZZF...on DOA item IMHO and I got hit with a restocking fee(small but total BS)

I never pay Newegg restocking fee.

Call, or get on their online webchat thingie, tell them it was defective, provide RMA/Customer #, they will waive it.

Some of you people....
