NewEgg Indeed uses drop ship. take a look and read

bought some stuff last week came today and last week
looked at fedex label
says bill third party
and i see fedex account #
will do a check on it to see who they use as a drop shipper 🙂

u see they dont carry inventory
thats how they use low prices to sell to us
and have decent shipping
see why they use fedex

all major distributors use fedex cause ups is suck

read my thing
bill to third party dood

if i own a company even if i ship with a warehouse there is no reason to ship to thrid party unless the warehouse newegg does not own

its just saying newegg is just a internet site for selling
no inventory what so ever
just selling for others

thats what i see on billing label

will check on account # to see who it belongs to
ill ask my fedex source
hope they leak 😉

What is wrong with drop shipping? As long as UPS doesn't drop your packages while shipping them...hehehe...

Anyways, if you feel uneasy about a merchant talk to them on the phone. I ordered some Corsair memory from Axion Technologies and they didn't have it in stock. It was drop shipped from Corsair Microsystems via UPS red label (overnight) and I got it the next morning.

Cheers!

i figured it was mwave when i first went there. The site layout, prices, and brands of hardware they carry are all the same.

Sigh,

Just because both sites use the same Shopping Cart/Store program, Doesn't mean they're the same!

And I do believe they do have inventory, since my bill looked normal. By your theory, Axiontech would also have no inventory also since when I bought RAM from them, it came directly from corsair...

Quit jumpin' to conclusions.

Who cares if they drop ship? Is it affecting you in any way?

And NewEgg is the first online retailer that I have bought from that ships only FedEx. Most that I use ship USPS or UPS.

You guys crack me up.

LOTS, no, MANY dotcoms "drop ship" their products direct from a distributor. It's a very efficient business model, because they don't have to maintain inventory, warehouses, etc. It cuts down on staff, and costs all the way around. Perhaps NewEgg does "drop ship" -- so what? They offer almost always the best price on a given item, and they ship quickly via a RELIABLE carrier, at REASONABLE prices. To those who gripe about the shipping charges being "stacked" -- I'd rather spend a few extra dollars and get it sent FedEx than spend a few loss dollars for UPS Ground or USPS. At least your items arrive in one piece, and timely.

for example a psu say u order 5 of them shipping is $6x5=$30

if u order 10 cpus shipping is $10x10=$100 insane

only when u order single items it may look good

<< Bonkers, just don't buy from them.

(BTW, I think you're the only one who cares 🙂)
>>

not care just curious
cause they rape on shipping when u buy multiple

I heard somewhere that if you order/call on the phone, you can get shipping reduced for multiple items at newegg. I'm not sure if that is correct, though.

Bonkers has an excellent point that many seem/choose to overlook.

Best places I have found lately, that have both decent prices and shipping, are Page Computer and Premier Systems.
