NewEgg hides reviews for bad products on sale?

I noticed NE started disabling reviews on their sale items. The reviews are there but they hide them. If you look up the same page in Google cache, you can read 1st page of reviews. Most of the products from the recent NewEgg email have sub-par reviews (3 stars or less). That's pretty low even for NE, if you ask me. Have they been doing that for a while now?

I don't know. I guess you could figure out the answer

You could find out from the google cache. looking at the dates may help or so I kind of think but I really don't think.

links to Google cache or keyword I should search for?

Although I always suspected it was happening, there is no was in hell that all the Samsung products have the best ratings without any "help"

Ok, so the first image is what I get when I click on the link in my email.
Then I go to google and search for that item name with "newegg" as additional argument.
Search results already show rating. Click on cached - viola! Reviews... Bad ones (3-stars).

You can see item ID is the same. In fact, if I click to view current version right from Google cached view, I will be redirected to the page with missing reviews. Items not on sale show reviews correctly. It's quite obvious NE does it to get rid of more units quickly, as people won't second guess the choice not knowing it's a sh**y product.
