Even for Crossfire, I would consider selling the HD 6970 and getting two HD 7850s or HD7870s.I would say this is only a good deal for those wanting to crossfire 6970's. with the competitive pricing of the 7850/7870 it's a no brainer to step up to one of those cards, or a GTX 660.
At that price point, I would get an HD 7790. It's 30% faster than the HD 7770 GHz Ed. But that particular game does not really need anything faster than an HD 7750, so the best bet would be to get an HD 7770 for $80 or under (or an HD 7750 for $60-ish - but I have not seen many deals on it).A little off topic (sorry)...but out of curiosity...is this any good for a budget build?
HIS iCooler H777F1G2M Radeon HD 7770 GHz Edition 1GB 128-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready Video Card
I got it for $99 a week ago but haven't built the PC yet. I had a strict budget ($500 for everything except monitor) so this was the only thing that would fit in it at the time.
It comes with Far Cry 3 and Blood Dragon also.
The user I'm building it for only plays WoW though, so I guess the graphics card doesn't really need to be too beefy.
