Hey, great deal on 4GB DDR3 sticks.

Item: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231313
Regular price: 40$
Promocode: EMCKDKC22
AC price: 34$

And of course, free shipping makes it sweet.

Less than 10$ per GB is usually a good deal on DDR3. Take into account it isn't a value stick with no heat spreader and has decent freq/volt/timings, and I call this a deal.

Picked up 12GB for 109$ after tax. 😀

Hey guys, contemplating a new build and I know this is at least a good price but how hot is this? Is this a "you'll probably see it again next week" or is this more of a "omg, the stars have aligned go grab them stickz now!"?

If you don't want to buy it now, don't. These deals pop up quite often. Although I don't exactly favor G.Skill...

I would take g.skill ram over ocz and corsair any day; the latter either don't work or fails within a few days. the former just drops in and works.

I love g.skill; but unfortunately I want 2 4gb sticks for 8gb. Some of the newer motherboards are unhappy with 4 sticks.

nothing wrong with Gskill I've used it the past 3-4 upgrades over the past 5-6 years. Just ordered this to go in a Sandy Bridge I am getting ready to build.
