Newegg finally has the DFI Lanparty UT 250GB NForce3 chipset mobo

Just placed my order!

Last time it was in stock, I spent too much time trying to pick out what RAM to get and the board went out of stock before I could place my order.

Really only one kind of RAM for this board. OCZ Platinum rev 2. Overclocks like crazy.

yay! Finally got this budgy ordered. I had the Auto-Notify go to my cell phone, and ordered it inbetween classes in one of the computer labs. woot! So far as ram goes, I grabbed some http://www.newegg.com/app/View...=20-220-006&depa=1

Hopefully it works out well. The price has spiked on it rather sharply (up $51.00 since I bought it 9/18).

That RAM seems really overpriced...you can get OCZ Performance PC3500 for almost the same price, or OCZ EL PC3200 for a lil more. But whatever you're comfortable with works!!

If I had a lil $$ to burn, I'd pick up a DFI Lanparty too, but at the moment, I'm broke

Yay! I got one.

I hope this thing overclocks as good as its supposed to as, my last two boards have been straight up terrible. First the MSI PT880 Neo, which wouldn't go a hair past without screwing up, and then now my Asus K8N-E Deluxe that is a great board, but I can't get it to go past a 5% OC and even then it runs into issues.

Yea, I totally agree now. It has really spiked (it was 159.99 when I bought it).

I got my Mush L2's up to 235fsb. Very stable at that speed. Beyond that they flake out. I'm going to try the OCZ Plat rev.2's, to see what they can do.
