i think the beta is great, bigger text, every page has the little newegg icon, and i don't have to waste time to go to the category pages because there are dropdown menus.

It probably would be good for amazon but wouldn't be an improvement for current NE customers, except if they add more products, which NE currently lacks sometimes. I wouldn't blame the owners if its a chance for them to cash in tho.
