Newegg Express Saver. what a joke. :(

pisses me off. i buy the package friday morning. just a couple of HD's, Video Card. nothing big. they ship it out of Edison, it goes to Newark, ok i can live with it.

it leaves Neweggs Edison factory on the EIGHTH and is scheduled to be delivered on the THIRTEENTH.

we really get screwed having a warehouse here in NJ, i have to pay sales tax AND i get delayed shipping.

shoot, they could have sent it USPS Ground shipping and i would have had it monday.

it will probably come early. newegg fedex shipments are known for arriving early

 

Plus, New Jersey sucks, so that's another strike against you.

monarch has always been good to me, although I don't think they'd be as friendly as newegg on an RMA. newegg has alwaya refuned me restocking fees when I returned something. Monarch did upgrade my shipping to fedex 2day one time, so I would have it on Friday. they're definitely one of the better online computer resellers

That's not all that bad. I've been looking for a decent cpu heatsink/fan for a while now, but NewEgg wants $23 to ship it to Alaska. What a ripoff.

That's not NewEgg's fault...FedEx has extremely high rates up to Alaska since 2-day air is the cheapest...and most stores do not ship USPS.

You can always move out...

and at least you won't have the frustration of getting tracking info and finding your package has move AWAY from you.

edison to Newark is moving north (so for you, it will be heading towards you) for me, it's going in the wrong direction.

Yes, but NewEgg won't even ship 3-day, ground or any other option. ZZF doesn't have what I'm looknig for, nor does Monarch (as far as I can tell)

not really, I LIVE IN NJ. i live about 15 miles from the warehouse.

if they had given me the option of shipping USPS Ground (the cheapest) i would have gotten it sooner.

sorry about the thread. hopefully you get your stuff very quickly. it wasn't that urgent for me. i'm just frustrated because i'm staring at the tracking info and it hasn't changed all weekend.

Even if my package arrives 2 days early to my local fedex station they leave it there until the specified date and then they ship it :roll:. When the delivery guy delivers the package he just lies saying he tried delivering the package but no one was home so I always get my stuff 3 days later because of his lazy ass. This just happened again, ordered a set of Promedias. Next time think Im just gonna stick with Amazon and UPS.
