Newegg Error? Software Error? My Error?

Just a little confused and sad.

I recently purchased an EVGA 9600GT 512MB (this one here: 9600GT) and I'm planning on overclocking it a bit.

[ in case the link doesnt work? doesnt seem to work for me... the item# is 512-P3-N861-AR ]

On NewEgg it states the Memory Clock should be 1800MHz. I have GPU-Z.0.2.1 and shows that the Memory Clock is 900MHz. Is that standard reading and I just have to multiply it by 2, or do I need to update some software somewhere, or maybe i got a Lemon. It also reads that in RivaTuner2.09.

Other Info:
running Windows Vista x64 Ultimate SP1
E8400 3.00GHz
4GB RAM
Abit IP35-Pro

Thanks for any input and suggestions.
