Im pretty sure they can afford a little down time, with the number of parts they sell each day ;)

Let's see, 200 sales were lost out of 2000 a day? Bah, 10% won't do anything.

They will lose mostly from people who buy 1 part, like someone who is buying a mouse, a video card, a cooler.

I think people with complete computer order will wait.

They probably shut down so all the employees could gather around and laugh at the order I placed earlier today for a $13 PCI modem. I was hesitant to order at first but all the reviews for it either said, "Got mine 3 days early," or "Newegg Rocks!"
How could I resist?

Seems to be back. Their site is consistently slow for me, and it goes down about once a week.
