Newegg doesn't charge a shipping fee?

I'm ignorant here, could someone explain to me why doesn't newegg charge me for shipping (I'm in NY)? Does the charge come later on or something? I just bought a 19" Samsung 955DF and it would seem odd not to get charged shipping on that.

Really? I got my 63lb 21" monitor from them that way.

I know, I thought it was really weird when I bought my ram and keyboard from them and I didn't get charged shipping. I didn't ask any question, though

they use it as a promotion, to move inventory that is stagnant, think of it like a sale at a retailer or a rebate
