These are not tied specifically to your account. I have exactly the same coupon codes as you posted. What this is means is only people who were sent this special email would be able to use it.

Even if you are on Newegg's mailing list, if you were not sent this specific email to your Newegg registered email address, you would not be able to use these codes.

From the email:

" Dear Valued Customer,

We truly appreciate loyal customers like you. Please take a few dollars off your next Newegg purchase on us, using these bonus coupon codes.

**PROMO CODES ARE NON-TRANFERABLE and may only be redeemed using the Newegg account attached to this e-mail address"

The coupons are not tied to your account - they are tied to the account of anyone who got sent the email. If you didn't get the email, you can't use the coupons.

Even with the coupons, things are still not cheap. It's not long ago I used to get all my bits and pieces from NewEgg, but recently they've upped a lot of their prices... and shipping costs. For instance, $20 shipping for a computer case is.... ouch! That's the only real "shocker" I see from NewEgg these days. Most of those cases are just drop-shipped and NewEgg doesn't have to do anything; no handling, no packing. Plus they cost about $12 at most to ship, so $20 is just ripping the @$$ out of it.

So is this the exact same thing from a few days ago minus the 20% off SSD coupon?

It's actually the same batch from the email 2-22. There were actually 12 coupons listed but three of them were only good for 48 hours. The nine you see are the ones that remain. It also possible that some of the remaining 9 wont work, becuase the funds for the discount have run out. It's happened before.

There's a caveat listed here in the email:
"No minimum purchase required. Limit one promo code per customer. Only available while funds last. Promo code expires at 11:59PM PST on 2/27/2011"

They drop ship cases? Really? And how do you figure that?

Every case I've gotten from them has the address of one of their warehouses as the return address.
