I wanted newegg to care. They didn't. They didn't contact the manufacturer, and only replied to my first email. Both parties, MSI and newegg, sent me a "it's not our problem, go bug someone else" email, and then blew me off.

My original post was really designed to underscore the point that this thread is Off Topic. Apparently, as long as the retailer is popular around here, the mods don't care.

Yea, but I figure if they send you a crappy motherboard, they should cover the shipping back to them? They lost my business because of that alone. I figure if its their fault, why should I pay to get one that works. All it took was a couple of bucks, but they lost me as a customer.

They pay you $10 bucks for shipping. Sometimes you have to fax them shipping reciept, sometimes they just throw in the $10 bucks.
