Curious, I've only RMA'd one thing but I ended up canceling it. I have an MSI 845 Ultra-ARU which is having major vcore problems. I'll get an Asus P4B266-C and a Promise FT TX2000 RAID card from Mwave (I would get both from Newegg but they are out of the FT). Will Newegg credit my card the full amount of the MSI board (less shipping), or will they want a 15% chunk? Most places (actually all) I have bought from refund the full amount on bad products. Only on those that the customer is unsatisfied with get the 15%.

Any idear?

I just got an RMA request approved from Newegg on a dead P4B266-C. They are not charging me a restocking fee, and I'm not sure but I think I may be receiving the total paid amount in refund. Including overnight shipping costs.

Not sure, but I thought I saw that. Of course, I could be blind as a bat too.

That's how it works. Lets them charge lower prices when they know it'll be harder to return stuff...

The trick is getting them to admit the product is defective. If its DOA, fine, but if it works when they get it back, there is always a chance they can say there was nothing wrong with it - 15% restocking fee.
