Newegg changing ship method w/o notifying cust.?

Ok, I placed an order for a hard drive on Newegg around 12:10AM on Tuesday. I added the expedited order processing and chose UPS 3-day as my shipping method. I'm in Vegas and my orders are always delivered the next day when they ship from Newegg's CA or AZ warehouses and I've ordered before 12PM the day before and added the expedited order processing.

With this order, I ordered 12:10AM on Tuesday, added the expedited order processing and chose UPS 3-day as the shipping method. It's shipping from AZ. When I log on to Newegg though, it still shows my order at step 3. Usually by this time, my order is showing as being at step 5 already and when I click on it, my tracking number is displayed on the order's status page.

I did already get the email from them stating that my package has shipped, BUT it is showing as being shipped via FedEx instead of UPS! The tracking number in the email is a FedEx tracking number and FedEx shows that it's going to be delivered to Las Vegas, NV so I know it is my order. Also, delivery date was for yesterday (Friday, June 22, 2007).

It still hasn't been delivered and FedEx still shows the same thing when I track it, as it did when I first got the tracking number:

Why did Newegg change my shipping to FedEx Express Saver without notifying me? I chose UPS 3-day when I placed the order and it even says so on the order's status page. If they left my shipping via UPS, my order would have been delivered to me yesterday.

Ok so I called Newegg today to ask about it. They say that FedEx lost it. I called FedEx and gave them the tracking number. They say they never got the package from Newegg. The item is no longer on Newegg's site, but they have an identical one with the exact same specs. for $20 more. Newegg has been screwing me over alot lately. Newegg says they'll refund the order amount to my Preferred Account, but it will take 5 to 7 business days. I needed this thing last Friday.

Newegg finally fixed this problem yesterday. I pm'd Newegg in their forums about the problem. They sent an equivalent hard drive (actually cost $20 more than the one I originally ordered) to me via UPS overnight. Hopefully they deliver it on Monday.
 
NewEgg's shipping guys covered the UPC area on my new ViewSonic/OptiQuest LCD monitor with an address label that didn't peel off nicely, so now I can't submit it for my $40 off rebate.

Is there any other way I can submit the $40 rebate without the UPC on the box?
