I was wondering if there was an internet based company like newegg that serves Canada?

Let me know

<< Does NCIX or any others charge taxes if shipped to a canadian residence? >>

By law they have to charge you both PST & GST but if your out of province (ie. differnet province than they are in) then they charge only GST

Cheers,

i dont think they tax you unless youre in the same province as their headquarters.

you might still have to pay GST regardless though, ive never ordered so im not sure.

edit: Aquaman beat me to it

Also if the item is coming from another couuntry the taxes (PST & GST) will be assested with any applicable duties.

Aquaman

<< That sucks, what I better do is ask a friend in the us to buy me something than ship it to me >>

It may or may not work.......... I find that when my friends send me things and say gift under $40 I usually do not have to pay anything but if they check it (sometimes they do) they can asses a fair market value and asses the appropriate duties & taxes (sux but it happens) even if it's a gift (go figure, hard to beat the tax man).

Cheers,
Aquaman
