Newegg branching out?

I was poll'd on their website the other day (this week) what areas I'd most like them to see added to their existing offerings. I didn't really care for any of the choices--but that wasn't an option so I closed the poll. I forget the choices, sporting goods, auto accessories, apparel, and I forget the other.
 
I, for one, welcome our new Newegg overlords. I can't wait for the day I can order some new racquetballs, more memory, a lens for my camera, a fan controller, and my groceries all from one online retailer and shipped to me via free 3-day UPS.
 
Good point. We have an amazon... I don't need to turn to Newegg for all my sport hunting & processor needs!
 
Well, as for searching for specific computer parts, newegg is far superior to Amazon. On Amazon you better know exactly what you want and forget searching by specific detail.

WTF. Last HDD I ordered came wrapped in an antistatic bag cushioned by about a 1 foot segment of the brown paper packaging material in a box that was about 14"x9"x8".

When was this? I've heard of people having issues with Newegg's hard drive shipping, but all of the ones I've ordered have been well packaged.
 
Wow, what a crappy scope.

General rule of thumb - glass should cost more than the rifle it is going on. Not always the case considering the cost of some rifles, but for the most part it is a good way of picking out glass.
