And the shipping was FREE!

Got the NEC DVD-RW ND-3520A for $59.99 with free shipping. Received EXACTLY 64 hours later. That is actually somewhat incredible to me, and is one reason why I will keep shopping at Newegg.

Other reasons: 4 emails for the order process keeping me updated, the website itself being updated very quickly reflecting the status of my order, and the general awesomeness of their chosen shipper, Fedex, with the 12 different updates as to my packages location :D

So, anyone else with happy Newegg and Fedex stories feel free to post here. Usually the only stories regarding shipping are negative (well, what's exciting about someone doing what they're supposed to) but sometimes the positives need to be heard.

If you don't have a good story, pics of hot chicks and funny websites are appreciated as well, of course :p

Oh and any stories regarding the awesomeness of Costco and/or suckiness of Nissan are welcome too.

Seriously, I think we posted at the exact same time. I wish the time stamp had seconds. Possibly down to the tenths or hundredths of a second actually.

I posted before your second message, and then edited it after I saw it.

Well, I clicked to reply to my own pretty quick, typed it out, hit it...and it refreshed with a message after mine. So my thinking is that the time between posts was quite brief, as if it had been more than a second or so, my screen would have refreshed and your message would not have been there. I wouldn't have seen it until I refreshed the topic again.

That logic looks . That was some really fast posting.
