Tough sell this late in 2022. 25% the L3 cache of a 3600 and a 100MHz lower boost clock. Needs to be $80 or so to make sense IMO. For +$26 the 5500 has x2 the L3, Zen 3 IPC, and better overclocking potential. PCIE 3.0 will only be noticeable if pairing with 6400/6500. I don't think anyone can tell us right now, when direct storage will make an impact in PC games. Consequently, I just don't see 4.0 or 5.0 as anything other than boxes to check in the budget build space if using a any other GPU.
And yeah I realize we can stretch the "for X amount more" out to Flagship. I think stopping at $26 is pretty reasonable for getting Zen 3 v Zen 2.
Already changed my mind!

$144 for the 5600G is the winner. I know they can hit 4.7GHz all core, and you get a better than GT1030 GPU included for free.
