Newborn flipped me the bird! *obligatory pic*

We are anticipating the birth of our 3rd baby sometime soon. Wifey is having contractions about 7 min apart and fairly mild. We're supposed to go to the hospital whenever they get stronger and about 5 mins apart.

We don't know the gender, but we have picked out these names:

Harrison
Abby

I'll update as I'm able.

Cheers and Beers,
HBD

timline:

Sunday 11 am: Contractions began, spaced about 10 minutes.

Sunday 2 pm: Contractions at about 5 minutes apart.

update #1: Sunday 6pm. Went to the hospital.

update #2: Sunday 10 pm. Got sent back home.

update #3: Monday 8 am. Contractions are still every 5 minutes and of moderate intensity, ie. nothings changed. (note: 3" snow overnight)

update #4: Monday 10 pm. She is still having contractions, but they slowed to about 10-15 minutes apart and a little more intense. It's anyone's guess as to when this baby is coming!

upate #5: Tuesday 9 am. Still waiting. Sunday seems like a complete false alarm. There is a very fine line between anticipation and anxiety.

update #6: 2:45 AM Thursday. The contractions finally started increasing in freq and we at 3 minutes apart. Going to the hospital now. Hopefully the next update will introduce AToT to our new baby.

update #7: 4:24 AM Thursday. Harrison was born healthy.
8 pounds 5 ounces
19 inches

update #8: 6 PM Friday. Everyone is home and healthy. Harrison flipped me off!

Holy crap...she's 7 minutes apart, and he posts:

IOW:

I have two minutes, every 7 minutes, to surf the net! I'm gonna do it, man! Lord knows I won't have any time at all about two hours from now!

😉

Congrats and best of luck to you, the Mrs. and your family.

We've gotten to 5 minutes apart, but they're still pretty mild. I think we'll be going to the quackshack pretty soon. I want to stop and get some mexican food on the way 😛

Sheesh...leave it to you to want to stop and get mexican food on the way to the hospital. LOL.

make sure you do a live post from the hospital man 😉
Congrats! My wife and I are expecting twins in August, but I'm not as hardcore as you to post while she's having contractions.

That's almost as bad as the labor with my second kid. I kept hearing, "Can you make it a few more minutes? This computer's almost built. Aw crap, might take another half hour, is that ok?" After a couple hours of that, I finally had to throw visitors out of the house and tell him to get in the car NOW because my water broke.

Anyway, HBD!
