Newbite to wireless networking.

I have a Linksys D-link airplus DWL-520+ wireless on my pc and a Sandisk Connect plus 128meg/wifi card also using windows mobile 2002 on my ppc. On my pc im using Zonealarm and Avast if that helps.

I can connect using Computer-to-computer (adhoc) but no data is transfered. So it connects but I can't access the net on my pocket pc or view my shared folders.

So can anyone help?

Is your PPC on your list for access via your router?

I'm not using a router. Just a pc with a wifi card and my PPC with its wifi. Also my pc connects with dial up. woo, woo......

Uh anyways it connects when I use Ad-hoc as my network type as asuppose to Infrastructure. I'm running Xp sp2. Is there any pacific services that should be running?

But yeah it connects but no data is being transfered. I can't surf the web or access network folders or hot sync..... Like I said before im using zone alarm basic as my firewall with the firewall settings cranked on high and avast set to high as well.

So.......What do I do?

Did you enable internet connection sharing on your internet connection (ie enabling ICS on your network card through Network Connections)?
