I was planning on just putting a GTX 1650 Super in it, but with all the new cards just coming out--and shortages etc--am wondering if maybe there is a better value for the money; perhaps even something in an RTX for the ray tracing effects. Am new also to gaming so won't be anything extreme; I may pick up Cyberpunk2077 to try out as I like sci-fi over fantasy, and my monitor is 1080p so that's max.

What monitor are you using. It doesn't matter quite as much more recently, but if it's Freesync/Gsync that does change things a bit.

Did you have a price range or limit in mind?

Is a nice 43" NEC monitor but not for gaming, none of those things apply.
Around $300ish would be top budget.

You can try for 5600XT from AMD or if you want RT then you can try for 2060S.
That's kinda what I'm wondering about. I see RTX2060 for around $300+ but read reviews people complaining because now 3000 series are out for same price; is the RTX2060 a good buy at $300 or would I be better off with the GTX 1650 Super?

I was referring to the 2060 Super not the normal 2060. Normal 2060 is too weak in raytracing.
