Newbie Speaker Question...

I just bought a SB Audigy and the Yamaha TSS1 speakers...

My question, how do I connect the two? Usually it would be just try some stuff, BUT my computer (with the audigy) is at college and I'm home for the weekend and picked up the TSS1. The problem is that back at school we don't really have any decent electronic stores to get basic cables (and the ones we do have charge 10x's too much).. so, I need to get the right cable tomorrow..

Information that I know (sort of, cause I'm ignorant when it comes to sound systems)...
The audigy has 1 digital output which supports their DIN connection or a S/PDIF connection
The yamaha tss1 has two digital inputs which are a coaxial and an optical input...

The speakers came with the regular analog cables, a coaxial to coaxial cable, and an optical to optical cable...
I'm skeptical but will the optical to optical cable work (or fit for that matter) into the audigy?
If not then what kind of cable do I need to get? Please help and thank you in advance for any kind soul who wants to cure my confusion!
