newbie qxn: Can I install CS on Halflife Blue Shift?

I just purchased Half Life's blue shift, is it possible to install and play CS? When I try to install CS it says I need to install CS on a valid directory ... any help is appreciated.

Doesn't Blue Shift require the original game? (I never played blue shift)

Doesn't look like it ... I ran through the install and it works, but I'm guessing this is not the Half-Life game but just the addon,can anyone confirm?

Have you ever played half life on your machine? You know "They're waiting for you... in the test chamber" "If you would be so kinda as to climb up and start the rotors..." that game....

Cause then you wouldn't go through that reaky teleportation thing. That freaked me out the first time I played it. That game was so good... I should bring it here and install it on my machine at work

version 4.0 should be out soon... the server that i played at have custom sounds and few custom maps in rotation
