As the title states, what's the difference between the PIII 600 E, B, EB? And what does that mean in a overclocker's world? LMK, I'm so new at this...

E=Coppermine 100mhz FSB ; EB=Coppermine 133mhz FSB ; B=Non-Coppermine 133mhz FSB ; for over-clocking youll want the 100 mhz fsb 600e as there is more room to raise your fsb speeds i.e. raising fsb to 133 mhz. will yeild an 800 mhz cpu.

Plus the 600b core is a Katmai core limited to just over 600mHz.
Weren't these 600b's all recalled?

Wow, thanks for all the answers people! :)

So a EB would be better to get then huh? Is the EB or E more expensive? Also, does anyone have any slotkeys or Golden Orbs for sale or trade? :) LMK, thanks! :D

Thanks for the information on the preferable cpu for overclocking. So I take it the 600EB doesn't OC at all then? Hmm..anyone want to trade a 600EB for a 600E? LMK, thanks! :)
