I'm building a new PC which will have both a CD-RW and a DVD-ROM. In my previous PC's I've built I on;y had a single CD-ROM drive which connected to the systmes sound card. However, with the new system how do I connect the sound output from both drives?

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks. :)

if you have sound blaster live card

then have one drive to CD_IN and the other to AUX_IN.....:)

or you can get another DIGITAL(2 pins) audio cable on the other drive the connect to the DIGITAL input on the sound card

Ming Chia is correct . . . however, if you have BOTH a burner and a reader, then there really is no reason to waste the burner as a reader. Save it for its primary mission . . . play your music on the cheaper, less sensitive reader.
