Hello Everyone,
Does an overclocked CPU run the same temperature as a higher factory clocked CPU? In other words, which will run hotter, a Duron 600@750, or a store bought Duron 750?
 
depends on about 56 million factors
seriously it wil mostly depend if you run it at default voltage or not( I doubt you will get more than 50 maybe 100 mhz more at default voltage)
 
It only depends on the CPU voltage and the Frequency you are running at (if everything else was at a "constant" ex: room temp). If the CPU voltage were to stay constant and you were to "increase" the clock frequency, then yes, the CPU would start "run hotter". How much would a processor heat up from 700 to 750Mhz, I have no idea.
