newbie OC question

I used the so-called pencil method to try and OC my Duron 600. However, anytime I adjust multiplier or FSB setting my system hangs (I've messed w/ core voltage adjustments as well). Did I most likely screw up connecting the L1 bridges or could it be something else? any advice would be greatly appreciated.. Thanks

Keep trying the pencil trick. I had to do it 7 or 8 times. (Finally resorted to using a magnifying glass so I could see what the hell I was doing!) It was well worth the effort though: my 600Mhz Duron is running at 900MHz.
