I'm looking for a good, solid case that has enough room for everything, is cool and quiet, doesn't cost an arm and a leg, and looks moderately stylish to boot...any suggestions? I've heard the CoolerMaster CM Stacker and the Antec Sonata are popular ones these days.
Antec Sonata II is a killer case for mechanical engineering. Internally, it has a separate telescoping duct to vent the CPU heat to the outside of the case, and all the drive bays snap in so you don't have to be poking around with a screwdriver in hard to reach places.
It includes a 450 watt Smart Power supply. If you're interested in it, make sure 450 watts is enough for your system.
Lots of good cases out there. The Enermax Chakras and Phoenix are ones to check out. The Sonata and Stacker are for very different purposes. The Sonata is for quiet and moderate home uses whereas the Stacker is for extreme systems.
