Newbie Fan Question for HSF

I have one of those ALPA Pals the screw into the mobo. It is with a Thermaltake 2000 RPM 80 mm fan at 36 CFM .

Now if I wanted to replace that fan with a 3600 RPM 36 CFM fan will I see a deal of difference in CPU temp?

Depends on the fan you're replacing it with.
...basically, the big thing with heatsinks is how well the fan can push or pull the air through the small holes between the pins. Overall, I'd think a lower RPM fan of similar CFM rating woul give you better performance.
In addition, it has been recorded all over the web that the Panaflo fans perform excellently for pretty much all heatsinks.
