Newbie computer build - Case fan question??

First time computer build, and I need help with case fans. The case is Antec CS600, with space to add four fans (two front, two back). The m/b is Asus A8V Deluxe, and p/s is 450W Mad Dog.

The m/b only has one 3-pin male connector dedicated for a 3-pin female of a case fan. How do I power the other 3 fans? Do different m/b's allow for multiple connections? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Most of the time you want to run the fans off the power supply directly and not through the motherboard. Check out some adapters here: http://www.svc.com/conad.html You could also use a front baybus and control the fans with that too.

and p/s is 450W Mad Dog

I'm pretty sure that power supply is a piece of total junk.

Thanks amdskip. It looks like those adapters are the way I'll have to go. I guess using the extra 4-pin leads coming from the p/s. If I keep the p/s, that is. I was wondering of the quality of the mad dog p/s. I guess that's one vote against.

Do you really need 4 case fans running? Unless you are overclocking your system, and my guess is you arent, you certainly can get away with 1 intake and 1 exhaust fan.

I have built many systems that have no fans on basic systems.
