I would say Nintendo is almost required to offer some sort of connection simply because of their dependence upon their hand held systems

bring back 2-D zelda IMO that was much more fun
A Link to the Past > Zelda (original nintendo) > All other zeldas > Link's Awakening
I am not including GB or GBA versions but i put the right up there with the original nintendo version
rather than spending 20 minutes just to sail to another island i hate investing that kind of time just to go to different areas
the puzzles were alright and so were the boss fights i just loathed sailing more than anything and that is why i still havent beaten it
Not a single Zelda game was first person, including this one. 😛Originally posted by: DougK62
Looks cool, but does anyone else miss the old top-down perspective of console RPGs? I don't care much for all of this first-person perspective.
A Link to the Past is the SNES Zelda game (the best one, IMO). You're thinking of The Adventure of Link (Zelda II).Originally posted by: DanJ

Never got into A Link to the Past. I know a lot of people like it but the side scrolling running through towns just didn't do it for me. I loved all the other ones though.

anyways
i can't wait for the next zelda game. I really enjoyed windwaker..probably one of the best game's i've ever played..and the cell shading fit the game perfectly in my opinion

Did no one else notice the eerie likeness to Lord of the Rings in this video? I think someone was inspired heavily by the movies. Will Link drive his sword into the ground and shout, "YOOOOUUUUUUUU...SHALL NOT PAAAAAAAAASSSSS!!!!!" 😀
BTW, this game looks awesome! I bought a Gamecube almost entirely for Wind Waker and Prime, now I have something else to enjoy on my system.
