Is anyone else seeing a new youtube layout? I think they are testing it on random accounts because I only see it in firefox.

But it is AWFUL. It has crashed my browser twice, and for some reason it is now left aligned.

ya it's bad. I get it with one account but not with my other. I can't even leave comments, the "respond to video" text doesn't leave the box and there's no button to press to submit. Getting tired of Google changing shit just for the sake of change.

OMG AGAIN?! They keep making it worse and worse. I don't get why they keep changing it over and over just for the sake of change. The original layout from before Google bought it was the best one imo. It was nice and simple.

It has not changed for me though from what I can tell, but they change it so often it seems every time I go there it's a different layout, so it's hard to tell.

I just wish YouTube's HTML5 implementation would work properly. I signed up for the beta test, but if I ever receive a link to YouTube, it always opens up in Flash. Flash is just so unstable as of late, that I prefer to avoid using it if I can help it.

I'm not sure I would. I just open YouTube, and search videos. Sometimes I look through my favorites. I don't use it for much else. This is what I'm looking at...

Looks like only random accounts are getting it. I have 2 separate accounts, my personal one gets it and my work one doesn't.

What's so bad about it? Seems very similar to the old layout but more cleaner and the addition of guide feature on the side.

Google in general seems to have lost the personnel who believe in simple clean layouts that are functional.

They've been slowly increasing all the extra 'selections' along the top of the screen on search. In addition, the colored box around their 'ads' that they place at the top of the search has been getting increasingly lighter. It's now so bad there are occasions where I click on them without realizing they're ad links (until adblock gives me an error....).

They've totally destroyed youtube: I can't watch it from home because they won't buffer the damn thing more than a few seconds now, and my home connection isn't fast enough. So it's watch 10 seconds, wait for buffering, watch 10 seconds....

They are losing their direction. Much like woot and Newegg.
