What the fuck is wrong with our state? Our economy stinks. We have corrupt democrats running the pension funds. Our tax receipts have been going down by double digits, yet we still somehow found a way to give unions a 3% raise.

Ow ya I forgot to mention. The State Senate is a circus. Republicans managed to take over the Senate, but the Democrats had to resort to tactics like turning the lights off and locking the chamber doors to keep the Republicans from holding sessions. Apparently, their 5 year olds rubbed off on them.

Republicans finally managed to get a key, but that didn't solve anything! Now, democrats are holding legislative sessions on one side of the chambers while Republicans are hold a counter-session on the other. Governor Patterson threatened to use state troopers to bring them together only to meet stringent resistance from.. his own party members!!!!

Meanwhile, important legislation is being ignored and delayed. Not a surprise since we haven't had an on-time budget in decades, but its still crazy. This is what happens when you let democrats control all branches of the state government.

I have to say I'm somewhat deliberately, albeit subconsciously, avoiding paying too much attention to this because what I've seen so far I don't like and I don't want to grow even more irritated at fvckerson and the rest of the government here.

BTW, you forgot to talk about the 8-10% budget increase for next year. 3% ain't nothin :)

Goes perfectly with the lefty mentality. So what if we're broke? Spend more, we can always raise more taxes and waste more! Hey, it's what the federal government is doing......

If they get to the point of him having to bring in state troopers, there needs to be other penalties to politicians involved in these scandalous events. If these are not criminal acts, they are awfully close to it.

There's a couple states that need a serious case of implosion to get things set straight again; NY would be #2 on that list.

I think a survey was done and found this to be the case or very close to it.

Maybe the NY citizens should stop yammering and pull their thumbs out of their asses, go there, and tell them exactly what they think of this.

That would be the logical solution.
