Soo next thing I know system wont boot. It was a water leak bunch of water landed on the 8800 card. We cleaned it and fixed the tube, except I dont have a computer now. Card died. Soo I slept in new years eve with a long face.
Today I went to Frys and Got the EVGA 460 1GB vanilla for $161 plus tax minus 25 dollars mail in rebate. It was open box but card was mint. Final cost is $152 dollars for this card after rebate. Now we RMA the 8800 soo I can get that back and use it as Phsyx card. Also its cool Im using HDMI no mini straight up HDMI to MON soo I get audio too I guess, and maybe crisper graphics probably the same....
I notice its much cooler then my 8800 was. I havent gamed yet or overclocked yet, Ill need to make a seperate thread on how to overclock and how to adjust voltage. I heard you need MSI Burner to take voltage up. If so do you always have to have MSI burner running in background or u just change voltage and exit out... Im babbling,, will brb gg and gl, talk about a nasty new years... Thanks
