New Years Eve-damn-always the same questions

The wife : "Darlink , where will we go for a fabulous time that will usher in a whole new year of fabulous times?"

We live in TO the good-so there's FA to do after about 10pm. I need help with that .

And this one will come right after:

"Oh, and what new year's resolution do you propose this time darlink ?"

Damn, I have "just missed" each NY's resolution since I don't know when, and sadly it shows.

Now what do I say ?

Wife: we stay at home where we are warm, comfortable & safe from drunken idiots. We can order food delivery, drink & dance the night away "

Resolution: to love her even more than last year
 
Be grateful you have a wife and stuff to do on New Years eve.

I'll be up at grandmas and everyone will find a way to waste my time so I will not be able to enjoy myself before, during, or after the countdown.

Last year we combined interests. I got stoned and we went skating at City Hall which closes at 10 pm. Problem was we had one pair of skates and tried to make do, one skate for each of us. Didn't end well.
So this year , I'm at a loss.

NYE is the perfect time to hit up your family for tech/car/etc help! Hey, I think my computer has a virus, can you take a look at it? My car has been acting up, like it does this thing every so often, but it doesn't always do it (and never does when I have someone look at it), could you take a look at it?

I was going to assume you misspelled "darling," but when it repeated it really piqued my curiosity.
 
After 10 pm its all indoors stuff, booze and strippers, clubs playing techno, white powder everywhere. The fun stuff, ski hills and ice rinks, are closed. Its too dark to run around re-arranging the snow men the kids have made and that was fun years ago. We wiser now.
We at a loss again this year.

On a scale of one to snoop dogg, how stoned were you when you decided that would be a good idea?
 
Is there not some kind of outdoor event at all in TO for NYE?

Come to think of it it's kinda sad, we live in Canada, and usually watch the ball drop in NY. We need to build our own ball or other iconic thingamabob! Maybe a giant gold beaver with LEDs on it or something.

Well well --looky here. Ours juniors gonna be a hittin on them US boys in a warm up for the Junior Championship.
We'll take two tickets and watch the fun. After that , the beer's on me.

Probably would've been more fun to get stoned and watch other couples try to make do with one skate per person...😉
