Ok i got the route planned, its a do-able, 4 hour journey, but the main problem is i have a full size ATX Tower with a 15" CRT Monitor, and thats it, would anyone have a spare monitor, i dont fancy lugging those two onto and off the train! I dont mind the box but the Monitor is pushing it. If only youd have it 2 months later id be able to drive 😉

Where do you live? I wouldn't mind going but don't fancy the 3 hour+ drive down by myself.

Im sure someone will have a monitor you can borrow, perhaps Garry?

I have a Samsung Syncmaster 15ME 15" screen you could use if you dont object to the size.

If you are already used to that size it shouldnt matter much 🙂

Yeah, 3 hours drive is nothing. I live in Grand Rapids, MI and have attended weekend LAN parties hosted in Columbus, OH as well as one near Minneapolis, MN. :Q Both were hosted by Team AnandTech members. 🙂

Those are 6 and 9 hours each way respectively. 😉
 
We need someone who has access to a large internet connection to host AT a private server for a day so all the UK and US people can play whatever. 🙂

We the missus doesn't mind me going...she is back at work on Friday and I'm not back until the Monday. Moonshine do you want me to pick you up? Though I would have to come home at some point on Saturday (to get ready for the following Monday).

I drive somewhere between 200 and 350 miles a day.(~320Km to 560Km If i converted right) and I'm not even a truck driver, I just fix pc's, printers, and robots as a field tech. so your 1 hour 20 min. drive shouldn't be stopping you 😉
