new XP 1800+ with nForce temp question

I just put together a new machine, and I have a couple of temperature related questions. The CPU is an AMD XP 1800+ with retail HSF, the motherboard is a MSI K7N420 Pro (nForce 420D), and the case is the Antec SX840. In addition to the HSF, I'm using the two supplied Antec case fans to help keep the system cool.

With all that said, does anyone know what temperatures I should be expecting? I'm just using the supplied thermal putty that was on the heatsink because I have no plans to overclock. PC Alert III is occassionally telling me that my temps are getting above 60 degrees Celcius when I'm running a game. Once I get a GeForce4 Ti4400 in the machine, I'm sure that will increase the temperature at least another few degrees. Does anyone know if this is acceptable?

From the limited MSI nforce temp info, high 50-60C is normal for that board...

is your system stable?

Yeah, my system is stable, but I was curious because I didn't know if those temps would cause any problems in the future. Also, PC Alert III defaults to setting off a warning if the temp gets to 60, so I was curious if this is really in the "dangerous" territory, or should I just set the warning higher?

I have a similar set up. MSI nForce with an Athlon 1900+ in a SX600 series case. I am using an Alpha PAL8045 with an 80mm Panaflow L1a running at 7v. My CPU gets to 60C under load. It used to get to 63C before I installed the blow hole.

I have a XP1800+ (1.78v) w/ SK6 & 80mm Sunon fan, K7N420 Pro, and a SX1030B w/ only a single 80mm sunon intake fan. My socket thermistor reports 63c under full load.
