New X2/SLI Rig Constantly Restarting

Just built a new SLI rig and am having some problems. The machine will constantly reboot itself on it's own seemingly whenever it feels like it. It's always within about 10 minutes (if that) of starting up Windows and happens everytime. If I reboot manually before it happens, it almost always has problems starting Windows again and will either freeze during startup, or will reboot itself again and will bring up the start in Safe Mode options.

I tried formatting and reinstalling Windows and the exact same thing happens again. I tried updating the BIOS from 1007 to 1008 and while successful, it didn't fix the problem.

Specs:
AMD 4400+ X2
ASUS A8N-SLI Premium (BIOS 1008)
2 GB OCZ DDR400 RAM
BFG 7800GTX OC (2 in SLI)
WD Raptor 74GB, 8MB Cache, 10,000RPM
Seagate 7200.9 500GB, 16MB Cache, 7200RPM
NEC DVD+/-RW
Silverstone 600W Modular PSU, Quad 12V+ Rails

Running Windows XP Pro SP2

Any help is appreciated.

Sounds like a power supply issue. Try taking out one of your 7800s and see if stability improves.

btw are you overclocking?

And what is your case and CPU temp looking like?

No overclocking. Just put it together and installed Windows last night and this has been happening ever since.

The PSU should have enough power, but I'll try taking the other GTX out.

Using stock cooling for now. Temps showed about 27*C idle.

I took out the extra 7800GTX and it seems to be doing fine right now. I'd say It's been going 10-15 minutes. Considering that I'm using less than half of the PSU connections and that the PSU is rated for SLI (including 2 PCIe connectors) and that it's nVidia apporved, is it safe to assume that this PSU is somehow borked?

You temps seem fine great too be honest. I would play around with it for awhile and see if you can get it to reboot. If it doesnt reboot put the other card back in and see what happens.

If it takes a crap then most likely your PSU is not functioning properly.

Well, it's doing it again, this time with just one 7800GTX in. Constantly restarting. I did a restart after Windows installed some new updates and when it came back up, there was box saying Windows just recovered from a serious problem or something like that and when I told it to send a report to MS, the info I got on the error was something about video drivers being stuck in a loop or something like that.
