Will be waiting for a sale for this, I paid full price for TNO and the campaign turned out to only be about 7 hours.

7 hours?

LOL no. Maybe if you run through and don't shoot anything.

It took me at least 18-20. It's a solid game.

Checking Steam, it looks like I finished TNO in about ~13 hours.

Not that it matters. I don't value my games based on their length. I value them based on how good they are.

For me that depends on the price of the game, if its $50+ then I need a longer SP experience or at the very least some replay value.

It's something I don't enjoy, so I'm not spending money on it :) I didn't like the Hobbit movies to be honest (only Tauriel, since I had no idea about her), neither did I enjoy the first 3 Star Wars movies. I loved Borderlands 2, one of my all time favorite games. Skipped TPS... I just don't enjoy it, I keep seeing what will happen to the characters and whatever I do won't change anything. Especially Nisha and Wilhelm - you kill both in BL2 and it's not even that hard ;)

I'm sure most people don't see it like that and can thoroughly enjoy a back story of something. But I can't, so I'm not spending money on it :)

Yea, it was definitely weird playing as a character you had already killed. BL2 I played through with every character at least through TVHM. The pre-sequel, I played through normal difficulty with one character, started a couple of others, but never even finished normal difficulty with them. I may go back to it at some point, just because no other games are grabbing me right now, but I definitely regret paying full price for it.

YES! I loved Wolfenstein TNO. Day 1 purchase for me.

If only they could iterate DOOM games at this clip, I'd be a very happy gamer.

Value is part of length. SP Shooters weren't 6hrs long before - look at the OG Far Cry, it will take you close to 20hrs. It has heft and a plot that actually plots. Multiplayer and DLC and $$$$$ have killed decent SP shooters. Sadly. Call of Duty and Battlefield - do you buy them for the SP?
