Well, I got my new rig up and running, and I am amazed at the difference in speed compared to my old K6-2 450. Here's the specs:

I only had one weird occurance upon windows xp installation. It wouldn't let me load windows if I didn't have the WD HD hooked up to the regular IDE header because it needed to install start up files on it (although it loaded windows and all the program files etc on my partition on the Raid array
) What I want to do now is optimize everything to run it's best. The best bios settings, and best windows settings etc. I've heard you should disable some things with winxp, but I don't know what exactly. Help me turn this screamer into something really insane.
