I don't get this fad with rivets around the rim. Really just doesn't go with the flowing lines of a beautiful rim, or beautiful car.

I agree... however, I had no choice in the matter...

Once winter hits, I plan on getting them powder coated the same color of the center

I didn't know what the stock rims looked like. I'm not a car guy. I looked at the pic and the black wheels stood out to me. Really nice look. The stock look like shit. I can't stand a bunch of chrome. I can see why car manufacturers keep putting those ugly things on new cars. Seems the majority like the big chrome look at me wheels.

Hate chrome myself. A guy who works in the office space above me just bought a ZR-1.. I hate the chrome wheels on it. :(

I am very picky when it comes with rims, the Stock Rims look fantastic.

Even looking at the link I dont like em, but if you do that's great. The car is yours do what you like, but rims are something to show off right? while I don't personally like it many others might.

Make sure to save the orignal if you plan on selling.

I never look at a car that has aftermarket wheels. Majority of time it means the owner treated the car like shit. They put money on wheels, tint, stereo, etc.. but not basic maintaince.

big dollars for stock size wheels is rather silly

A few reasons I decided ultimately to stay with stock sized wheels:
-Ride quality goes to shit with 19/20 wheels (stock is 18/19 combo)
-No sense in adding rotating mass
-Tires are twice as expensive
-The chance of bending a wheel (pothole and such) is very likely
-I like some sidewall, I hate the rubber band look

Make sure to save the orignal if you plan on selling.

I wouldn't sell the car with aftermarket anything. You never get your money back and are much better parting out/returning to stock.

I like the stock style better, but I don't like chrome also. I would be nice to have stock style in matted black or gray color.

Disgusting.

Your stock wheels (the one on the right) looks 1000x better.

it's a good thing I like them... lol

Well at least you have a Vette. When you put those nasty ass wheels on some stupid crappy car, that's when I go homicidal on those asses. :awe::awe::awe::awe::awe::awe::awe:

While I'm not a huge fan of black wheels those don't look bad. I like the silver lip. Did you ever get that ding out of the front bumper?

I like them too. We must have garage full of old men here since so many prefer chrome wheels.

That's a great deal for HRE wheels. HRE wheels with decent tires for $3k? Can't beat that.

What is their weight compared to the stock wheels?

-KeithP

IIRC... **saves** right around 5lbs per corner, i'll find out exactly once i get them (i'll actually weigh them myself)
