NEW W/L nic NEW sound in speakers

when my nice card has activity it makes sound in speakers

i changed channels and checked IRQs

bad thing about this is that i got a laptop with integrated speakers which is a pain!!!

any other ideas you think i should try?

eh i can almost stand it now guys please help just think when i stream musiC oh noes!!!

It's probably just radio interference (spelling) from the NIC. Just like some cell phones will cause the same types of noises in certain speakers. It's been my experience that GSM digital phones seem to have a higher capacity to cause these noises, so when I last bought pc speakers I actually made phone calls next to them to make sure they didn't pop

Sadly I can't think of a real solution for you if it's just the radio interference. You could try a different branded NIC, or just mute the speakers :frown:

that is actually sad because my old usb 802.11b didnt do that but i have a 10mb/1mb connection and the laptop is not using the full bandwidth which sucks arse!!! and when i mute them they still make the noise grrr
