The 1.04's? Not really much of any difference for me. I went from 1.03/DX7 to 1.04/DX8, didn't really notice any change at all.

Pathetic? How do you get at that? And why do people think boy bands are so horrible? They are just as talented as the next musician. They work just as hard as anyone else. How many of you think you can sing as well as them? Well guess what, you can't. I don't care how good of a voice you may think you have, you can't. They may not play instruments, but guess what, they sing a whole lot better than the singers in bands. And what do they do live? They dance and stuff. WHILE singing. What do most bands do....jump up and down WOOWEE that takes talent! Sorry, but I can think up more defenses for them all night. But I don't need to, their record sales show for themselves.

Deeko, don't get me started on those manufactured pop-tart bands. That cliche &quot;includes the hit single&quot; BS really ticks me off. Regardless of whether they are boy or girl bands, they are manufactured and fake and have little/no real talent. They simply sell records because of the marketing money thrown at them to promote their image.

The real talent is with rock/grunge bands who often have very little/no marketing to back them up, yet their albums succeed because they have real talent and produce good music. Look at Metallica for example. A lot of their earlier albums never even got radio air-time let alone the TV ads pop-tarts get, yet they are now arguably one of the biggest and most popular bands in the business.

The Backstreet Boys are NOT manufactured. Howie and AJ met while competing in some Latin vocal tournaments or something. They also knew Nick from before. Brian and Kevin are cousins, I believe Kevin knew the first three in some way or another. Howie, AJ, and Nick thought they would start a group, so they contacted Kevin, who brought along his cousin. They came together and made a group. How manufactured is that? And how can you say they don't have talent? If you took Brian Littrel and put him in a vocal competition with the lead singer of ANY band, be it Metallica or whatever, he would tear them apart. And they ARE singing live, while dancing. It's not lipsynching.

as for musical talent, i think making a tune that sounds great forever is far better than making a rhyme with baby as every second word that sounds great for the next 2 weeks. ah the fickle nature of pop enthusiasts and im backin BFG, metallica simply kick @ss! they make some damn catchy tunes (yes, even the old ones) and as for the lyrics, well they've got room for improvement, but how u gonna fit words in when you're playin the air guitar? yes, i have no inner monologue

Um, they're not musicians, they're over-rated karaoke singers. They have no talent. Do they write songs or play instruments? Singing isn't exactly the hardest thing when you're a teenager if you have the right training (two weeks is all you need... half the population already have the voice for it, just need to get the breathing right)... and don't tell me you consider what they do on stage dancing?
